OLE Ghana to Realize its Dream of Intra-Regional Collaboration
Is intra-regional collaboration the sure way to meet education related SDG goals in the sub region? OLE Ghana thinks so and thus from 9th to the 12th of May OLE Ghana will be joining Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education officials as well as stakeholders in the education sector from the Gambia in round table discussions aimed at integrating technology in Gambian pre tertiary education delivery. This a reciprocal visit to an earlier one paid by a high level Gambian delegation led by the Permanent Secretary OLE Ghana at the recommendation of World Bank officials.

At the round table discussions OLE Ghana is expected to share its experience in the integration of technology for education delivery. For the past 5 years OLE Ghana has developed and perfected its Open Learning System based on the use of low cost technology backed by effective pedagogy/teacher support and engaging content to promote quality education delivery at the basic level, especially in literacy.

The invitation to OLE Ghana to join in the round table discussion is in line with OLE Ghana’s growth strategy of extending its innovations outside Ghana as part of its firm believe that intra-regional collaboration is the surest way to improve and meet education related SDG goals in the sub region.
